Supervisor, Broadcast Operations - Master Control

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate all Master Control responsibilities and duties for a defined shift
• Supervise, train, and mentor a staff of up to 12 operators with varying experience levels
• Manage staffing schedules, conduct 1-1 meetings, and issue performance appraisals
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the collection and retransmission of live HD and SD signals
• Oversee management of recorded content, including PPV media and commercial playback
• Review outages to determine impact and develop preventative or corrective actions
• Recruit, interview, and participate in the selection of new employees
• Handle on-call responsibilities and represent the department in multi-department meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and/or at least four years of experience in radio, television broadcasting, or a related field
• Ability to work in a 24/7 office environment, including weekends, evenings, and nights
• Strong ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and business periodicals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and interacting with management
