Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, train, and inspire top talent to maintain a high-performing team
• Act as the manager on duty to resolve customer experience, vendor, or maintenance issues
• Collaborate with the management team to execute action plans and optimize operational results
• Perform opening and closing procedures, including bank deposits and receiving deliveries
• Set daily or shift goals and provide performance feedback to team members
• Drive exceptional customer experiences through product knowledge and personalized recommendations
• Motivate staff to meet sales targets and maintain brand standards
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment by following all company policies and safety procedures
• Maintain physical presence on the floor, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs

Requirements

• Significant experience in achieving sales and operational results in a dynamic environment
• Previous supervisory experience, preferably within a retail setting
• Proficiency in a customer-centric retail environment
• Ability to train and coach staff in real-time
• Strong communication skills and the ability to de-escalate delicate situations
• High school diploma, Canadian adult education certificate, or relevant work experience
• Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work peak hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
