Supervisor Audio Systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and management of production audio systems and in-house mixing.
• Coordinate with production managers to schedule and direct union and non-union audio crews.
• Supervise the installation of audio Front Fills and oversee system operation throughout events.
• Manage the maintenance, repair, and inventory of all audio equipment and rental gear.
• Implement audio changes as directed and troubleshoot technical issues in a fast-paced environment.
• Facilitate technical discussions and pre-production meetings with Sphere Studios and guest productions.
• Assist with technical advances for artists and ensure all A/V requirements are met.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in audio design, engineering, or audio technology for live events, film, or themed entertainment.
• Technical proficiency with Ravenna, Dante, AES67, and digital audio consoles.
• Completion of OSHA 30-Hour training.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and perform physical labor including load-in/load-out and running cable.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 60 credit hours of college-level coursework or equivalent trade school certification.
• Experience with Meyer Sound D-Mitri, Q-Sys, or Smaart.
• Proficiency in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) or the ability to read construction drawings.
• Advanced computer skills including MS Office Suite.
