Supervisor Accounts Payable

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide the Accounts Payable team in daily operations, including task allocation and workload monitoring
• Train, mentor, and evaluate team performance to ensure adherence to company policies and deadlines
• Oversee the timely processing of vendor invoices, E-invoicing, and vendor reconciliations in compliance with SLAs
• Manage AP aging, follow up on blocked invoices, and minimize overdue liabilities
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and tax regulations such as GST/TDS
• Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and implement automation or tools for increased efficiency
• Support global P2P transformation projects and maintain standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (MCom or MBA Finance preferred)
• 6–9 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance
• 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory or lead role
• Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems
• Proficiency in MS Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a shared services or Multinational Corporation (MNC) environment
