Supervisor, Accounting Services

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direction to employees to ensure accounting services operations meet established standards.
• Supervise the daily tasks of complex accounting teams, managing performance, training, and quality.
• Review expenditure, expense, payment, and outstanding reports for precision and proper authorization.
• Serve as a mentor and point of contact for resolving complicated accounting issues.
• Track project metrics and employee performance records, providing regular feedback.
• Manage people-related actions including hiring, training, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
• Assist management with departmental initiatives and process improvement discussions.

• Broad technical expertise in accounting and deep industry knowledge.
• Proven experience in people management and supervising complex teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate solutions using technical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to exchange ideas concisely and rationally.
• Ability to work independently and perform tasks without direct supervision.
