Supervisor, Accounting

Responsibilities

• Create weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the plant
• Analyze financial reports and provide insightful commentary to senior management
• Assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of the annual budget
• Prepare and present period-end cost and financial reports, including variance investigations
• Manage inventory control, including supervision of physical counts and reconciliations
• Oversee Accounts Receivables and invoicing processes
• Supervise and lead the accounting team, fostering a positive and cooperative work culture
• Support the Plant Manager with annual forecasts and budget preparation

Requirements

• University degree in accounting
• CPA designation or actively working towards one
• Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to recommend process changes
• Proven leadership initiative and ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
