Supervisor Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Coordinate with external auditors to provide necessary documentation and clarifications
• Liaise with internal teams including tax, treasury, and operations to gather information for audit purposes
• Ensure all audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documents are accurate and complete
• Monitor audit progress and proactively address issues to ensure completion on or before due dates
• Maintain compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies
• Prepare tax audit schedules, annual tax filings, and transfer pricing documentation
• Prepare advance tax workings and coordinate with tax consultants for timely deposits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
• 5–10 years of experience in statutory audit, financial reporting, and general accounting
• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Companies Act requirements
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems such as MSD or SAP
• Experience working with Big 4 or corporate firms
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
