Supervising Psychiatrist

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment for individuals with mild to moderate conditions
• Prescribe medications responsibly and ethically in alignment with measurement-based care
• Supervise and mentor advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs, APRNs)
• Review documentation and treatment plans to ensure quality and compliance
• Support APPs in managing clinical crises
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and improve care models and workflows
• Provide psychoeducation and psychotherapy as appropriate
• Partner with therapists and care coordinators in an interdisciplinary model

Requirements

• Board-certified psychiatrist (MD or DO)
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice psychiatry in a state served by Two Chairs or IMLC eligibility
• Experience supervising and mentoring advanced practice providers
• Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional state licensure or willingness to obtain it
• DEA registration or willingness to obtain it
• Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and virtual care delivery
