About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise 3-4 Supervising Investigators, attorneys, or other enforcement staff
- Oversee Investigations Team workflows and case assignments
- Identify and implement improvements to investigations and case-handling processes
- Lead complex investigations and mediations
- Manage systems for monitoring compliance with Consent Orders
- Lead implementation of enforcement for new laws under OLPS jurisdiction
- Provide legal opinions on novel legal questions
- Handle recruitment, training, and annual evaluations of staff
Requirements
- Admission to the New York State Bar
- Four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant legal experience
- Eighteen months of experience in supervision of other attorneys or in a managerial/executive capacity
- Must remain a Member of the New York State Bar in good standing
