Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Supervise crews and craft workers to ensure project application and execution.
• Manage productivity, safety, quality, and adherence to project schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers and job teams to determine specific project needs.
• Optimize the use of equipment, materials, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs.
• Set performance goals, deadlines, and coordinate workflows with Foremen and other Superintendents.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties.
• Assist in schedule planning, including determining labor needs, material quantities, and equipment requirements.
• Ensure consistent compliance with company rules, safety procedures, and workplace behavior standards.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the construction industry.
• 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role.
• Professional knowledge of heavy civil infrastructure.
• Ability to manage and run multiple crews across various construction scopes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong organizational, time-management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with marine infrastructure (ports, docks, wharves, piers, or bridges).
• Experience working with cranes.
