Superintendent - Transportation/Infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate all civil and structural activities on assigned infrastructure and water projects
• Supervise and mentor civil crews to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, adhering to all company policies and regulatory requirements
• Monitor and control project costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and materials
• Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management
• Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, such as daily reports, schedules, and change orders
• Assist in schedule planning by determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and provide regular project updates

Requirements

• 5+ years of construction experience with at least 3+ years in a leadership or Superintendent capacity
• Advanced knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, and jurisdictional issues
• Expertise in safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, and reading engineering drawings
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in various field locations and conditions, including overtime and weekends as required
• Ability to access all areas of a construction project site

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
