Superintendent Plant Process

Responsibilities

• Supervise and drive plant process optimization for the assigned functional area
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by correcting unsafe conditions and conducting safety inspections
• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the food safety system
• Manage resources, activities, and process team members to ensure efficient round-the-clock operations
• Establish, plan, and manage budgets and maintenance procedures for equipment
• Conduct system and process analysis to identify improvement opportunities in safety, quality, and productivity
• Diagnose problem areas and implement corrective action plans
• Coordinate maintenance techniques to monitor and reduce repair costs
• Ensure adequate levels of supplies, materials, and parts to prevent operational interruptions
• Maintain environmental documentation and comply with all hazardous waste management regulations

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience
• Broad training in a related field acquired through college, education, or work experience
• Working knowledge of production processes and equipment technology
• Proficiency in using computers to access, input, and retrieve information
• Strong basic arithmetic, geometric, and algebraic calculation skills
• Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information confidentially
• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including exposure to noise and chemicals
