Superintendent, Plant Process

Responsibilities

• Supervise and drive plant process optimization for the assigned functional area.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by correcting unsafe conditions and conducting safety inspections.
• Manage resources, activities, and team members within the assigned process area.
• Establish and manage maintenance procedures, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
• Diagnose problem areas and implement corrective action plans to improve productivity and cost reduction.
• Ensure efficient round-the-clock operations and maintain adequate levels of supplies and materials.
• Comply with all environmental regulations, food safety systems, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collect and organize data to generate reports and maintain schedules related to the functional area.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of job-related experience.
• Broad training in a related field acquired through college, education, or work experience.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment technology.
• Working knowledge of generally accepted supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to use a computer to access, input, and retrieve information.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic, geometric, and algebraic calculations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in negotiating with contractors for facilities and building maintenance.
• Ability to handle sensitive and proprietary information with confidentiality.
• Experience working in manufacturing environments with exposure to occupational hazards.
