Superintendent Pharmacist

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily pharmacy operations to ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and customer service.
• Oversee regulatory compliance in accordance with GPhC, MHRA, and CQC regulations.
• Manage and mentor a team of pharmacists, technicians, and support staff to foster professional development.
• Develop strategies to grow the customer base, improve operational efficiency, and drive revenue growth.
• Work with the executive team to achieve company growth and performance KPIs.
• Monitor business performance, customer feedback, and industry trends to drive innovation.
• Drive initiatives to enhance the pharmacy's digital presence and optimize the online customer journey.

Requirements

• GPhC registered and in good standing with active UK registration.
• Must hold a Superintendent Pharmacist designation.
• Must hold an Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Superintendent Pharmacist or in a senior pharmacy leadership role in the UK.
• Proven experience working in an online or remote pharmacy environment.
• Strong working knowledge of GPhC standards, MHRA regulations, and CQC requirements.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Ability to join immediately.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Head Pharmacist.
• Experience working in a weight loss clinic or specialized online pharmacy.
• Familiarity with NHS digital systems and e-prescription platforms (e.g., EPS, PharmOutcomes).
• Knowledge of GDPR and UK patient data protection requirements.
