Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centred clinical and professional leadership
• Ensure compliance with GPhC Standards and all statutory requirements
• Document, maintain, and communicate safe working practices and SOPs
• Oversee training and competencies of pharmacy staff in accordance with the GPhC Code of Ethics
• Manage Controlled Drugs governance, including accurate record-keeping and registration
• Support the team to develop automation and efficiency within regulatory guidelines
• Monitor and audit medicines expenditure and safe medicines management
• Work with the wholesaling team to ensure MHRA standards are met
• Shape clinical and governance strategy and evaluate new service opportunities
• Represent Montu with regulators and industry bodies

Requirements

• Registered Pharmacist with current GPhC registration
• Previous experience as Superintendent Pharmacist or senior pharmacy leader
• Strong understanding of GPhC and MHRA regulations
• Experience managing Controlled Drugs governance
• Experience leading teams in a high-volume pharmacy environment
• Experience preparing for and managing regulatory inspections

Preferred Qualifications

• Online pharmacy experience
• Medical cannabis or private healthcare experience
• Multi-site pharmacy experience
• Experience scaling pharmacy operations
• Experience implementing pharmacy technology and automation

• Salary range of £100,000 to £110,000 with a 25% performance-related bonus
