About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise hourly bargaining unit employees in daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment operability and reliability
  • Define and execute required work based on established Maintenance Work Orders
  • Update significant data for Preventive, Predictive, Autonomous, and Corrective Maintenance in CMMS records
  • Support the development and implementation of Maintenance Based on Reliability to reduce repair frequency
  • Plan and program work execution to minimize production downtime and ensure high-quality repairs
  • Coordinate programmed maintenance with sufficient anticipation to minimize production losses
  • Monitor maintenance and operating costs to ensure adherence to the annual budget
  • Evaluate equipment, new installations, or modification proposals for maintenance capability and prevention
  • Promote standardization of equipment and facilities to minimize global maintenance costs
  • Define equipment spare parts inventory levels based on maintenance experience and company policy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing environments
  • Proven knowledge of Preventative and Predictive maintenance methodologies
  • Experience with reliability methodologies such as RCA, RCI, FMFA, and statistical downtime analysis
  • Proficiency with CMMS systems
  • Understanding of electrical regulatory and industrial standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • CMRP or CRE certification status
  • Vibration Level 1 or 2 certification
  • Experience with RCM, TPM, and Spare Parts Management
