About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise hourly bargaining unit employees in daily maintenance activities to ensure equipment operability and reliability
- Define and execute required work based on established Maintenance Work Orders
- Update significant data for Preventive, Predictive, Autonomous, and Corrective Maintenance in CMMS records
- Support the development and implementation of Maintenance Based on Reliability to reduce repair frequency
- Plan and program work execution to minimize production downtime and ensure high-quality repairs
- Coordinate programmed maintenance with sufficient anticipation to minimize production losses
- Monitor maintenance and operating costs to ensure adherence to the annual budget
- Evaluate equipment, new installations, or modification proposals for maintenance capability and prevention
- Promote standardization of equipment and facilities to minimize global maintenance costs
- Define equipment spare parts inventory levels based on maintenance experience and company policy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 years of experience in heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing environments
- Proven knowledge of Preventative and Predictive maintenance methodologies
- Experience with reliability methodologies such as RCA, RCI, FMFA, and statistical downtime analysis
- Proficiency with CMMS systems
- Understanding of electrical regulatory and industrial standards
Preferred Qualifications
- CMRP or CRE certification status
- Vibration Level 1 or 2 certification
- Experience with RCM, TPM, and Spare Parts Management
