Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all site construction activities and supervise trade and field personnel
• Develop and maintain project schedules including master, 60-day, and two-week look-ahead plans
• Enforce corporate safety programs and OSHA compliance across all daily operations
• Prepare daily construction reports and assist with monthly client status reports
• Attend weekly foreman, superintendent, and project team meetings
• Establish document control to ensure work follows latest design and approved shop drawings
• Communicate RFI needs to the project manager and track material deliveries
• Secure, post, and renew required permits and jurisdictional approvals
• Oversee quality control, site cleanliness, and punch list resolution
• Maintain positive subcontractor relations and updated project schedules with the project manager

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, scheduling, cost control, and safety regulations
• 10-Hour and 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificates
• 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate
• NYC Buildings Construction Superintendent License preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Office, Project, and Timberline
