Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, including master, 60-day, and two-week look-ahead schedules
• Implement and maintain corporate safety programs and ensure job site safety practices
• Oversee daily field operations, quality control, and site cleanliness
• Prepare daily construction reports and monthly status reports for the client
• Attend weekly foreman, superintendent, and project team meetings
• Manage document control to ensure work follows latest design documentation and approved shop drawings
• Communicate RFI needs to the project manager and assist in punch list resolution
• Secure and renew required permits and approvals from jurisdictional agencies
• Coordinate material deliveries and maintain positive subcontractor relations
• Support preconstruction planning, scope review, buy-out, and scheduling

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Working knowledge of construction disciplines, union agreements, cost control, scheduling, and safety regulations
• 10-Hour and 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety and Health Certificates
• 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User Certificate
• NYC Buildings Construction Superintendent License preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Timberline
