Superintendent - Heavy Civil

Responsibilities

• Direct all field construction activities and personnel to ensure project meets budget, schedule, and safety objectives
• Plan and supervise construction methods, sequencing, manpower, and equipment
• Train and manage Foremen and field administrative personnel
• Create and maintain project schedules in conjunction with the Project Manager
• Communicate site problems, conflicts, and quality issues to the Project Manager and owner
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with safety programs and quality standards
• Assist with subcontractor disputes, change orders, and monthly pay requests
• Perform project close-out and ensure timely punch list completion
• Mentor Project Engineers assigned to the project
• Ensure daily recording of quantities, time, and logs in Heavy Job

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years of experience in Demolition, Heavy Civil, or Heavy Highway construction
• Previous experience as a General Foreman or Craft Superintendent
• Knowledge of earthwork, grading, drainage, and trench safety
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Proficiency in construction scheduling and cost control
• Experience managing Pipe Installation and Earthwork operations
• Knowledge of Machine Control systems
• Basic computer skills
