About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise all onsite labor, including subcontractors, staff, and volunteers
- Lead weekly subcontractor and field coordination meetings
- Develop and maintain project schedules and three-week look-ahead plans
- Monitor construction progress and resolve schedule, quality, and coordination issues
- Inspect work for compliance with project plans, building codes, and quality standards
- Document progress using Procore through daily reports and field logs
- Perform and verify critical layout dimensions for foundations, framing, and finishes
- Prepare material takeoffs and coordinate procurement and deliveries
- Maintain jobsite safety in adherence to OSHA and Habitat policies
- Supervise, coach, and support Crew Leaders and volunteers
- Foster a collaborative and mission-driven work environment
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of residential or multifamily construction experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Knowledge of framing, building envelope, and cladding systems
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Project)
- Valid CA Driver’s License
- Ability to work in San Mateo, San Francisco, and Marin Counties
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders/stairs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a Superintendent on multifamily residential projects
- Experience with Procore construction management software
- Experience supervising volunteers or apprentices
- OSHA 30 certification
