About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee installation of complex electrical systems in manufactured buildings
- Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using deep technical expertise
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems
- Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes and regulations
- Interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other electricians
- Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to OSHA guidelines
- Manage electrical projects including planning, resource allocation, and timelines
Requirements
- Valid and current Master Electrician license
- Significant experience as a Journeyman and Master Electrician
- Advanced proficiency with electrician tools, techniques, and testing equipment
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations
- Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform physical demands including lifting and bending
- Ability to travel up to 100% including overnight stays
- Ability to pass a background check and participate in drug and alcohol programs
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with PLC programming or automation systems
- Certifications related to specific electrical systems or technologies
- Project management experience
- Experience with high-voltage systems
- Knowledge of NEC and other relevant standards
