Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, laborers, and trades
• Maintain project schedules and adjust for delays or unforeseen challenges
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies
• Enforce OSHA standards and conduct regular job site inspections and safety meetings
• Perform regular quality control checks to ensure high-quality workmanship
• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Utilize project management software like Procore or Microsoft Project to track progress
• Maintain daily logs and reports using Microsoft Office Applications
• Assist with budgeting and cost tracking using Timberline or similar software

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of construction industry experience in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of all construction trades and specification interpretation
• OSHA 30-hour training or equivalent certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with Microsoft Project, Procore, or similar construction management software
• Basic knowledge of Timberline or similar cost-tracking software

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a foreman or journeyman
• Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM), LEAN construction, or LEED certification
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
