Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage multiple construction and remediation projects across various sites
• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily work activities and resources to meet project goals and deadlines
• Direct and supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors
• Monitor project progress and quality to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates
• Identify and resolve issues that may affect project timelines or budgets
• Assist in cost estimating, procurement, and contract administration as needed
• Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports and promote professional development
• Travel to job sites as necessary (up to 50%)

Requirements

• 8+ years of supervisory experience in construction or environmental remediation
• Demonstrated leadership abilities managing multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%

• Relevant supervisor training or certifications
