Superintendent (Environmental)

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental remediation projects at multiple sites with minimal supervision
• Supervise multidisciplinary tasks, field personnel, equipment operators, and subcontractors
• Implement and reinforce all Health and Safety requirements
• Complete accurate daily field documentation and accident investigations
• Identify potential changed conditions or out-of-scope items
• Assist in preparing cost estimates, projections, and change order documentation
• Procure materials and negotiate with vendors and subcontractors
• Supervise and contribute to the career development of up to 10 direct reports
• Travel up to 50 percent of the time to project sites across multiple states

Requirements

• 8 years of experience leading environmental cleanup, soil remediation, demo/decon, or habitat restoration projects
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary staff on construction projects
• Supervisor Training

Preferred Qualifications

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher
• USACE/Department of Defense (DoD) contract experience
• USACE QC Training
• OSHA 30-hour Training
