Superintendent - Electrical Construction

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory direction to craft workers via general foremen and foremen to manage productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence
• Act as a liaison between field engineering and craft teams to ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications
• Coordinate effectively with other superintendents, subcontractors, and Kiewit leadership to ensure smooth workflow
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties
• Assist in schedule planning, including determining craft labor levels, material quantities, and equipment requirements
• Ensure consistent adherence to project rules, safety procedures, and company workplace behavior standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of work experience in the construction industry
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
• Previous knowledge and work experience within electrical and/or transit rail construction settings
• Advanced knowledge of union agreements, jurisdictional issues, safety regulations, and cost control
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
• Willingness to travel or relocate to various project locations across the US
