Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the job site for home construction from permit to closing
• Schedule and supervise subcontractors to ensure work complies with building codes and company standards
• Maintain construction schedules to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time and within budget
• Conduct daily inspections to monitor workmanship, product quality, and community cleanliness
• Manage the customer experience by conducting homeowner orientations and addressing concerns
• Oversee the post-close warranty process, including assessing requests and scheduling repairs
• Authorize subcontractor payments upon successful inspection of completed work

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of related construction experience
• Valid driver's license and a vehicle capable of carrying supplies
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency with MS Office and mobile construction applications
• Knowledge of municipal permitting, regulations, and building codes
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift up to 50 pounds in various weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college
• Experience working effectively in high-pressure, high-production environments
