Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Manage all functions of the job site related to home construction from permit to closing
• Schedule and supervise subcontractors to ensure work complies with building codes and company standards
• Maintain construction schedules to ensure high-quality products are delivered on time and within budget
• Inspect workmanship and product quality, halting any work that is noncompliant with plans or specifications
• Conduct homeowner orientations and walk-throughs to manage the customer experience
• Monitor community cleanliness and ensure worksites are orderly and visually appealing
• Manage the post-close warranty process, including assessing requests and scheduling repairs

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of related construction experience
• Valid driver's license and a vehicle capable of carrying supplies
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Proficiency with MS Office and email
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks such as kneeling, bending, and climbing
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and loud environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college
• Experience working effectively in a high-pressure, high-production environment
