Superintendent, Concrete Structures

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of concrete structure construction to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
• Supervise and coordinate activities for foremen, subcontractors, and laborers
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, conducting regular meetings and inspections
• Implement quality control measures to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards
• Develop and maintain project schedules while coordinating resources, materials, and equipment
• Identify and resolve construction issues or conflicts to minimize delays and cost overruns
• Maintain accurate documentation of daily activities, progress, and jobsite incidents
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and engineers regarding project requirements and scope

Requirements

• 8+ years of construction experience
• 3+ years of experience in a Superintendent or leadership capacity
• Proven experience working on infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, bridges, dams, or water treatment plants)
• Strong leadership, safety, negotiation, and planning skills
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and a high degree of motivation
• Willingness to travel frequently and work overtime or weekends as required
