Superintendent Commissioning Telecom

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide guidance to the commissioning team, EPC contractors, and sub-contractors within the telecom area of responsibility.
• Coordinate with licensors and vendors to ensure commissioning activities strictly follow guiding procedures.
• Oversee the progress of commissioning activities for sales gas and condensate areas.
• Review pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures, as well as commissioning manuals issued by EPC contractors or vendors.
• Provide technical advice and support to the Senior Commissioning Manager.
• Verify mechanical completion certificate requirements for various systems and subsystems.
• Participate in commissioning meetings and troubleshooting analysis to resolve technical obstacles.
• Verify system readiness for Mechanical Completion (MC) and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) certificate issuance.
• Monitor and approve the close-out of punch lists and ensure handover methodology complies with contractual documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience in commissioning or operational readiness positions.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership position within Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Proven experience in MEGA EPC projects with onshore site experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the GCC region.
• Specific experience with sour gas, Hydrogen production, or Hydro-desulfurization projects.
