Sunday Morning Teacher

Responsibilities

• Teach and lead age-appropriate Bible lessons using approved curriculum
• Create a welcoming, structured, and nurturing classroom environment
• Guide children through Bible stories, prayer, worship, crafts, and small-group activities
• Maintain safety and order in the classroom following child protection guidelines
• Arrive early for classroom setup and stay for post-service breakdown
• Collaborate with staff and volunteers to ensure a smooth Sunday experience
• Participate in occasional training and weekly ministry team check-ins

Requirements

• Availability to work at least 3 Sunday morning shifts every month
• Punctuality for all Sunday shifts
• Attendance at mandatory annual training sessions
• Ability to provide at least 2 weeks' notice for absences
• Commitment to serve for at least 1 year
• Successful completion of background and reference checks

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience teaching or working with young children in ministry or education
• Mature Christian faith aligned with LSQ vision
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs
• Ability to stand for portions of the shift
