Summit Readiness Associate, Commercial Development Programs

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 12-month talent development program to accelerate expertise in Commercial Banking credit, risk, and business development.
• Engage in complex, hands-on assignments to build professional judgment and leadership confidence.
• Collaborate with internal partners including Global Risk Management, Business Service Centre, and Wealth Management.
• Support Directors and Relationship Managers in servicing a diverse client base with national and international operations.
• Develop business development capabilities, including risk management, commercial acumen, and communication.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and Bank standards while enhancing financial analysis and due diligence skills.
• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in business, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of experience in credit, business development, client-facing roles, advisory, or relationship management.
• Experience in international banking, cross-border transactions, or global financial markets is highly valued.
• Demonstrated learning agility and a strong interest in Commercial Banking.
• Excellent communication skills and disciplined documentation abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle for travel within the assigned territory.
