Summer Teaching Assistant - Science

Responsibilities

• Support instructors with company-created science curriculum and materials
• Work one-on-one with students during class activities to help them grasp complex concepts
• Assist with classroom management for groups of up to 16 students
• Help with grading and providing constructive feedback on student work
• Foster an environment that promotes critical thinking and academic curiosity

Requirements

• Must be 16 years old or older
• Strong science skills with the ability to navigate advanced concepts
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work onsite at our Morrisville, NC location

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with or a strong interest in working with younger students
• Familiarity with the AoPS curriculum
