Summer Teaching Assistant - Math (Elementary)

Responsibilities

• Support instructors with company-created math curriculum and materials
• Provide one-on-one assistance to students during class activities to help them grasp complex concepts
• Assist with classroom management for groups of up to 16 students
• Help with grading and providing constructive feedback on student work
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and academic curiosity

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Strong mathematical skills with the ability to navigate advanced concepts
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Ability to commute to our Millburn/Short Hills, NJ campus for in-person sessions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or a strong interest in working with younger students
• Familiarity with the AoPS or Beast Academy curriculum
