Summer Teaching Assistant - Language Arts

Responsibilities

• Support instructors with company-created Language Arts curriculum and materials
• Provide one-on-one student support during class activities to help grasp complex concepts
• Assist with classroom management for groups of up to 16 students
• Help with grading and providing constructive feedback on student assignments
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and academic curiosity

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Strong Language Arts skills
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Legal authorization to work in the US
• Ability to commute to our Millburn, NJ campus for in-person sessions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with or a strong interest in working with younger students
• Familiarity with the AoPS curriculum
