Summer Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support instructors with company-created curriculum and materials to help students grasp complex concepts
• Work one-on-one with students during class activities to provide personalized assistance
• Manage classroom environments for up to 16 students to maintain an organized learning space
• Assist with grading assignments and providing constructive feedback on student work
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes critical thinking and academic curiosity

Requirements

• Must be 16 years of age or older
• Strong skills in Math, Language Arts, and/or Science
• Exceptional written and spoken communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to commute to our campus in Gaithersburg, MD

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience or a strong interest in working with younger students
• Familiarity with the AoPS curriculum
