Summer Student Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate brewing equipment and perform industrial cleaning and sanitation of vessels
• Execute material handling tasks including transferring, milling, and weighing ingredients
• Perform process quality control checks, sampling, and testing
• Complete required quality checks and maintain accurate records in a timely manner
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and all EH&S safety policies
• Proactively communicate with colleagues and managers regarding business or safety issues
• Participate in troubleshooting activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in post-secondary education
• Availability for shift work, including days, afternoons, midnights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to meet job demands such as lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and frequent stair climbing
• Ability to work in various environments (warm, hot, cold, or damp) while wearing required PPE
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn company-specific systems
• Strong ability to work both independently and as part of a team
