Summer Student Operator

Responsibilities

• Follow and execute Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and departmental work assignments
• Maintain a safe working environment by following all EH&S safety policies and procedures
• Complete required quality checks, sampling, and testing in an accurate and timely manner
• Perform material handling tasks including transferring, milling, and weighing ingredients
• Execute industrial cleaning and sanitation of brewing equipment and vessels
• Assist with troubleshooting and continuous improvement initiatives within the department
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the brewing process

Requirements

• Currently undergoing post-secondary education
• Availability for shift work, including days, afternoons, midnights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to meet job demands such as lifting, pushing, pulling, and frequent stair climbing
• Ability to work in various environments, including warm, hot, cold, or damp conditions
• Computer literacy and the ability to learn Labatt's internal systems
• Ability to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
