Summer Research Intern

Responsibilities

• Develop test methods for the detection and quantitation of specific chemicals found in customer process water
• Determine detection limits, limits of linearity, and other quantitative parameters to define method efficacy
• Design experiments and devise potential product prototypes for evaluation
• Collect and interpret experimental data
• Maintain a well-documented and organized lab notebook
• Communicate effectively with team members from various areas of expertise

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled as a student at North Central College
• 1-2 years of college-level Chemistry experience
• Strong experimental design and data interpretation skills
• Ability to work and think independently and creatively
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain detailed lab documentation
