Summer Program Assistant

Responsibilities

• Co-facilitate pre-employment training and workshops related to job readiness and career exploration
• Support the application, enrollment, and orientation process for the 2026 Summer cycle
• Develop worksites for youth placement and communicate directly with worksite supervisors
• Provide individual support to program participants, including problem-solving and goal setting
• Maintain accurate files for all youth and support the onboarding process
• Provide administrative support for program implementation and other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with diverse, urban youth populations within a youth development field
• Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate youth groups
• Knowledge of curriculum development
• Proficiency in Zoom, G-Suite, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to pass fingerprinting background check and TB clearance
• Ability to travel locally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Salesforce and ADP
