Summer PhD/MBA Intern - Oncology Market Analysis and Research

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive landscape analyses across oncology and autoimmune therapeutic areas
• Analyze standards of care, approved therapeutics, clinical-stage pipelines, and emerging treatment modalities
• Support strategic assessments of oncology targets, immunology pathways, and emerging technologies
• Develop presentations, market maps, executive summaries, and reports for stakeholders
• Help executive team optimize pitch decks for external business conversations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with scientific and leadership teams

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a PhD/MBA degree with a focus in healthcare and/or biotechnology
• Background in life sciences, biology, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or pharmacy
• 2+ years experience working at a biotech or pharmaceutical company
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and market research tools
• Ability to interpret scientific literature and clinical trial data

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in immuno-oncology with business training
• Familiarity with oncology and/or immunology concepts
• Familiarity with using AI tools to accelerate research
