Summer Custodial Helper

Responsibilities

• Prepares dorm rooms for summer occupants and guests
• Restocks toilet paper, paper towels, and soap dispensers
• Vacuums, dust mops, wet mops floors, and spot washes walls
• Arranges classroom furniture and cleans chalkboards/whiteboards
• Cleans entrances, elevators, and sweeps outside steps
• Collects and removes trash and recycling
• Washes windows and arranges furniture in social spaces
• Supports the College’s Recycling program
• Sets up and removes furniture and equipment for special events

Requirements

• Custodial experience preferred
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work weekends as required
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs
• Ability to walk, climb stairs, bend, squat, and kneel frequently
