Summer Camp Teacher

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in guiding children to be more independent and confident
• Observe children closely to understand and best meet their needs
• Prepare a beautiful, orderly environment that fosters independence and concentration
• Provide individual and small-group lessons to support each child's development
• Form personal connections with each child and cultivate a community of collaboration and respect

Requirements

• Familiar with the development of young children
• Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service oriented mindset
• Willingness to grow and learn
• Valid negative TB test within the last 12 months, or willingness to take one prior to start date
• Valid CPR certification, or willingness to become certified prior to start date
• Excitement to learn more about Montessori Education
