About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, high-energy sports classes for children ages 6 - 10
- Set up and prepare for camp each morning by 8:30 AM
- Supervise and support children throughout the camp session to ensure safety
- Stay until all children are safely collected (around 12:30 PM)
- Maintain a clean and tidy camp location
- Build strong relationships with kids, parents, and fellow coaches
- Track attendance and ensure smooth class operations
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Reliable transportation to various camp locations
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass state and FBI background checks
- Commitment to the entire summer camp session (June to August)
- Availability Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM
- Strong communication skills and a positive, energetic attitude
- Experience working with kids is a plus
