Summer Camp Site Director

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6–12 counselors during morning programming
• Provide daily coaching, facilitate morning huddles, and offer feedback
• Serve as the primary contact for families at drop-off and address concerns
• Oversee morning site operations including schedules, materials, safety, and attendance
• Step in to teach classes as needed to ensure high-quality camper experience
• Provide written and verbal handovers to the afternoon lead team

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with children ages 3–12
• Experience in teaching, camp leadership, or similar roles
• Proven experience managing or mentoring at least four people
• Strong family engagement and communication skills
• Ability to remain organized and composed under pressure
