SUE Technician I

Responsibilities

• Perform SUE/utility locating on a variety of project types
• Learn about different utility systems, including how they work and are installed
• Operate equipment such as EM, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), and vacuum excavation equipment
• Represent the company in a safe and professional manner, adhering to traffic laws and safe driving habits

Requirements

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1-2 years of survey experience
• Willingness to travel to and from project sites
• Willingness to learn and operate survey equipment including total stations and GPS
• Ability to work outdoors regularly, potentially in extreme conditions
• Willingness to work on a vacuum excavation truck
• Valid driver's license and an acceptable motor vehicle record
• Ability to pass a drug test
