Success Coach

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact and success coach for a caseload of students, providing academic advisement and career development support.
• Help students navigate their educational journey, including course selection, major declaration, and finding scholarships or internships.
• Plan and execute campus programming, including student success seminars, orientation, and student life activities.
• Support student retention and persistence through proactive monitoring and the implementation of best practices in higher education.
• Assist students with financial aid procedures and provide guidance on study abroad opportunities.
• Coordinate with various campus departments to achieve recruitment and retention goals.
• Maintain accurate records and complete regular reports regarding student registration and performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in higher education or student affairs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to manage digital records.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to support campus programming.
• High energy and enthusiasm for working with a diverse student population.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field.
• Experience with career assessment instruments and NACE standards.
• Experience in residence life, student leadership, or housing operations.
