About the role

Responsibilities

  • Integrate and validate electronics design for missile guidance systems during the development phase
  • Perform hardware testing, performance assessment, and root-cause failure investigations
  • Develop and document subsystem requirements and test plans
  • Influence architecture development and refinement through analysis and modeling
  • Collaborate with detail design teams and missile-level integration engineers
  • Utilize lab instrumentation and test equipment in an office and lab environment

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical hardware development and/or testing
  • Experience with systems engineering requirement development and/or requirement validation
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret)
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in detailed design, testing, or troubleshooting of RF applications (antennas, analog RF circuit cards, digital circuit cards, or configurable logic)
  • Experience working with missiles or similar complex systems
  • Knowledge of mixed-signal electronics and DOD hardware development processes
  • Experience with Model Based System Engineering (MBSE)
  • Practical experience across all phases of the product development lifecycle
