Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

• Fill in for teachers on leave due to vacation, illness, or personal matters
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning experience for young children
• Lead various activities including educational games, arts & crafts, music, and outdoor play
• Work collaboratively with onsite teaching teams and program directors
• Communicate with families regarding their child's daily progress and activities
• Complete all required Wonderschool training and onboarding processes

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Experience in child care, teaching, or working with children ages 0-5
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to pass a state background check
• Ability to complete a TB test and physical

Preferred Qualifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• EDU 119 Early Childhood Credential
• ECE AA or BA Degree
• 1+ years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
