Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

• Fill in for teachers on leave due to vacation, illness, or personal matters
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning experience for children
• Lead various activities including educational games, arts & crafts, music, and outdoor play
• Work alongside onsite teaching teams and follow guidance from program directors
• Communicate with families regarding their child’s daily progress and activities
• Complete the Wonderschool training and onboarding process

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience working with children ages 0-5 (child care, teaching, or similar)
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Ability to pass a state background check
• Ability to complete a TB test and physical

Preferred Qualifications

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• EDU 119 Early Childhood Credential
• ECE AA or BA Degree
• 1+ years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
