About the role
Responsibilities
- Fill in for teachers on leave due to vacation, illness, or personal matters
- Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning experience for children
- Lead various activities including educational games, arts & crafts, music, and outdoor play
- Work alongside onsite teaching teams and follow guidance from program directors
- Communicate with families regarding their child’s daily progress and activities
- Complete the Wonderschool training and onboarding process
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Experience working with children ages 0-5 (child care, teaching, or similar)
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to pass a state background check
- Ability to complete a TB test and physical
Preferred Qualifications
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
- EDU 119 Early Childhood Credential
- ECE AA or BA Degree
- 1+ years of experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
