Substitute Teacher

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom instruction and execute engaging learning experiences
• Hold students to high academic, behavioral, and social standards
• Follow Wisconsin DPI teacher standards and apply best practices
• Incorporate technology into daily teaching and respond to feedback
• Supervise students and ensure safety at all times
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the school network

Requirements

• Associate's Degree
• Wisconsin DPI licensure or eligibility
• Skills in creating a college-readiness learning environment
• Ability to serve as an advisor to a small group of students
• Effective communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for quality education and student achievement

Benefits

• Training and financial assistance with DPI license fee
• Full license fee reimbursement after 6 days worked
• Daily pay rate of $200 for a full day and $100 for a half day
